Just after the 3-year contact with the previous sponsor Magners expired, Celtic announces a 5-year deal with Asia’s premier betting company Dafabet. Celtic has an estimated number of 9M fans worldwide and some of them are from Asia. In exchange with the brand exposure, Dafabet offers translation services to extend the reach to non-English countries as part of the sponsorship deal.

During the press conference, Peter Lawwell Chief Executive of Celtic football club shows his delightedness with the said partnership. “We are very pleased to have Dafabet as our major sponsor and we are pretty sure that both parties will enjoy the benefits in the next five years” Lawwell stated. As per legitimate sources, Dafabet-Celtic deal is so far the biggest in the history of Scottish Football.

On Dafabet’s side, Head of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship John Cruces states his appreciation during the interview. “We are absolutely honored partnering with one of the most recognized football clubs in the Scottish Premiership and it will be a priceless moment for us seeing Hoops wearing kits with our logo in Celtic Park Stadium”

On the other hand, Dimitris Karatzas Managing Director of Online Betting and Gaming at Dafabet added his sentiments. “Celtic needs no introduction especially seeing its worldwide status. It is a proud moment for us to partner with a side steeped in such tradition”, he said.
